Faith Hieblinger , Acrylic, Oil, & Wax Painter
Using complementary colour and sweeping line helps to create the storms and winter scenes that interject their beauty in momentary fury. I am fascinated and hold great wonder and respect for weather, especially in its most powerful moods. I have found that working in a combination of oil, natural beeswax and resins adds a transparency that is both honest and intimate. Through nature, I seek to capture the joy and contentment of life amongst the storms of love and loss.
